Play Room
House
The Students in Kalyani Public School, Barasat are divided into four houses: Red, Blue, Green and Yellow each representing an inner emotion of a growing child. Each house is headed by a Captain and Vice-Captain who take constant guidance from house mistresses. Inter-house compositions are organized in various cultural and co-curricular activities. This fosters a spirit of co-operation and a good competition amongst the pupils, each house is under the charge of a house mistress who constantly motivates the students towards building house spirit and loyalty. Each teacher is attached to one of the four houses so that personal grooming can be done. At the end of the Year, a trophy is given to the best performing house. This keeps the students motivated to achieve the best throughout their school life.
Tours & Camps
In Kalyani Public School we conduct various educational tours, picnic and adventure camps which are organized on regular basis under professional supervision. It is a family's students with the best of various cultures, traditions and give expression to their adventurous skill. Student Council
We at Kalyani Public School, Barasat, encourage students to shoulder responsibility thereby developing their leadership qualities in the best possible way. The school has a very motivated student's council consisting of the Head Girl, Head Boy, House Captain and Perfects. There are two council mistress who provides guidance and coordinates their duties. The Council meets once a month to organize and execute various school activities. It is also responsible for maintaining the discipline in our CBSE affiliated school.
